Building equitable opportunities for all children and youth to thrive.

Access to Care

Promoting access to mental health and behavioral health services for children and youth most at risk.

We help Children with Intensive Needs (CWIN) and their families access community-based care and support. Healthy Families Montgomery (HFM) is a voluntary home-visiting service for first-time parents.

Social Justice Programs

Building equitable opportunities for all children and youth to thrive.

These programs and initiatives reflect our comprehensive commitment to social justice and equity: MoCo ReConnect, My Brother’s Keeper, the Racial & Ethnic Disparities Committee, Black Breastfeeding Week, and Conservation Corps.

Substance Abuse Prevention

Engaging the community to create and foster conditions that prevent/reduce substance misuse.

The Montgomery County Prevention Alliance educates youth, parents/caregivers and concerned community members about substance misuse and ways to prevent it.
