The MoCo ReConnect Drop-In & Reengagement Center in Wheaton seeks workshop facilitators to lead arts and entrepreneurship programs in our shared space. This new initiative, called the Youth Arts & Entrepreneurship Program, solicits local artists to facilitate programming that is hands-on, interactive, and youth focused. This program was conceived of and designed by young people interested in bringing arts related programming to the Drop-In Center as a safe and joyful setting.
MoCo Reconnect serves and works alongside youth between ages 16-24 who are experiencing housing insecurity and provide services including housing attainment and assistance, GED attainment, workforce development, case management, mental health services, LGBTQIA+ resource navigation, and other forms of programming.
Submissions will be reviewed and contracts offered on a rolling basis.
