Findhelp Fundamentals: How to Claim & Add Programs

infoMONTGOMERY is an online information hub connecting community members in Montgomery County with resources that help people survive and thrive. The infoMONTGOMERY resource directory is powered by Findhelp, a national platform that helps people find free and low-cost services in their communities.

If your organization offers free or low-cost programs in Montgomery County that should be in the infoMONTGOMERY directory and you’re new to Findhelp – or simply need a refresher – this training is for you.

In this 30-minute training, you will learn how to:

  • Set up a Findhelp profile if you don’t have one
  • Claim programs already in the infoMONTGOMERY Findhelp directory that belong to your organization
  • Add programs that are missing
  • Improve how community members discover your programs

We’ll also highlight some free Findhelp tools available to you, and you can stay and ask more questions in an optional Q&A following the presentation

What is Findhelp?

Findhelp is a free online platform that connects people with local programs offering food, housing, healthcare, transportation, employment assistance, and other community resources. Organizations can claim their profiles and manage their program information so community members can more easily find and access their services.
