If you are an Out-of-School Time (OST) Provider in Montgomery County, Maryland, we invite you to join the OST Network.

The MoCo OST Network brings together program providers, government agencies, for-profit businesses, community members, and – most importantly – young people, to strengthen and expand high-quality OST opportunities across Montgomery County, MD.

The purpose of this community-driven network is to ensure accessible high-quality OST strategies, models and providers for all children, youth and communities.

Growing the OST Provider Network is a top priority during Phase 1 of the OST Strategic Plan for the County.

Out-of-School Time (OST) Definition:
OST is a supervised program that young people regularly attend when school is not in session. This can include school aged-childcare (SACC), before- and after-school programs on a school campus or facilities such as academic programs (e.g., reading or math-focused programs), specialty programs (e.g., sports teams, STEM, arts enrichment), and multipurpose programs that provide an array of activities (e.g., 21st Century Community Learning Centers, Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCAs).

Level of Commitment expected of Provider Network Members:

  • Review the Strategic Plan Report and identify alignment with your organization to ensure fit.
  • Complete the membership survey to ensure your receive communications and invitations for Network related activities and meetings.
  • Attend Network Meetings every other month for updates around funding opportunities locally and federally, to share resources and highlights, to hear about opportunities to collaborate, and to be in space with youth-serving organizations for connection and best practices.
  • Participate in Network activities from the Strategic Plan to the level your organization is able.
  • Be committed to outcomes-driven, positive youth development programming for young people.
