The Community of Practice (CoP) of the Collaboration Council coordinates the training and education/academic programs for youth development practitioners working in youth-serving fields such as workforce development, mentoring, recreation, and transition age youth ages 16-24.

This solicitation seeks to identify qualified trainers to deliver workshops, webinars, and  certification training programs with content that supports/aligns with youth development principles, social emotional learning, and cultural linguistics.

Announcing Open Solicitation #2019-67: Identifying Vendors to provide advocacy services to Maryland Association of Local Management Boards

The Montgomery County Collaboration Council for Children, Youth and Families, Inc. (the Collaboration Council), is a quasi-public non-profit organization and the Local Management Board for Montgomery County, Maryland. The Collaboration Council’s mission is to improve the well-being of children, youth and families through collaborative partnerships. The Collaboration Council is completing this Open Solicitation as fiscal agent for the Maryland Association of Local Management Boards (MALMB).

The selected provider(s) will provide services in connection with the 2020 legislative session.

Some of the services to be provided include:

  • Providing a weekly bill profile of bills that have been introduced and their status to the Legislative Committee. The bill chart will be limited to legislative issues defined by the Legislative Committee;
  • Notifying MALMB of relevant hearings and assisting in drafting testimony and other preparation;
  • Identifying witnesses and delivering written testimony, as needed
